Payout Payment Rules*

All Products:  Any member receiving a commission (either as a writing agent or override) must be appointed with the applicable provider.

Active members:  Life and Health Products

UL, EIUL, Term, Whole Life and Health:  Payouts are paid to the writing member and overrides are paid to the up-line members based on each members’ payout level, licenses and appointments as of the writing date of the policy. All advance payouts, earned payouts, renewals and trails are paid according to the hierarchy structure as of the writing date.  If the writing member on an account is changed to another member for servicing, payouts will not be paid to the new member of record since payouts can only be paid to the writing member and hierarchy in effect on the writing date.  If the writing member has not taken the IUL course (refer to provider pages in the Member Manual) as required by The Company, within 90 days of the policy’s writing date, the member will forfeit all rights to those IUL payouts.

All Other Products

Fixed Annuities, and other products:  Payouts are paid to the writing member and overrides are paid to the up-line members based on each member’s status, payout level, licenses and appointments as of the dates shown below:

Payment:  All annuity commissions, regardless of the size of the premium, will be held for a period of 30 days following the provider receiving all requirements pertaining to the policy.  This includes but is not limited to the delivery requirements.

Each time a payout transaction (including renewals and trails) is paid on an account, the member and hierarchy shown on that transaction are paid based on their current payout levels and at the current payout rates. If the writing member on an account is changed to another member, payouts will be paid to the new member of record at his/her current payout level, not the level of the original writing member.

The Company reserves the right to hold commissions for contracts with premiums of any amount for a thirty (30) day period (beginning on the date the delivery receipt is received by the product provider).   All required paperwork must be received by the provider and no requirements may be outstanding.

Policies for the following will pay out thirty (30) days following the date the delivery documents are received by the provider:

The client is the writing or split agent’s mother, father, brother, sister, spouse, child or any other family member.  This may also include in-laws and step relationships.  Policies on licensed agents will also be held for thirty (30) days following the date the delivery documents are received by the provider.

Terminated Members:

UL, EIUL, Term, Whole Life and Health:  A member’s right to continue to receive payouts or overrides on life products is determined by his or her vesting status.  For more information about vesting, please reference the Vested Payouts section of The Company Member Manual.

All Other Products:  When a vested or non-vested member’s membership Agreement terminates, the member is no longer entitled to receive payouts on these products.

The Company reserves the right to hold commissions for contracts with premiums of any amount for a thirty (30) day period (beginning on the date the delivery receipt is received by the product provider).   All required paperwork must be received by the provider and no requirements may be outstanding.
