AAG Promotion, Compensation, and Bonus Guidelines

1) Alliance Agency Group’s (AAG) promotion guidelines are subject to change at any time without prior notice. Unless otherwise specified, promotion guidelines are for all AAG members.
2) Promotion requires approval of direct upline VP.

3) Promotion requires approval of direct upline VP and EVP.

4) The VP Promotion Swap is a one-time option that can only be requested concurrently with the VP promotion.

5) No more than one-half (1/2) Net points can be personal and one-half (1/2) or less Net points can be from any other leg for SVP & RVP promotions.  For SRVP & above promotions, no more than one-half (1/2) Net points can be personal and only one-half (1/2) or less Net points can be from any other leg or your own base shop.

6) An exception promotion to Level 20 will not count as a leg toward an upline’s promotion to any position above VP level promotion until that level 20 Member fulfills all the published VP requirements. A recent transfer cannot count as a qualified VP leg for a period of six (6) months.

7) Points/Legs earned through The AAG Champions Standards will not count toward promotions.

8) AAG is the paymaster of any compensation to members from Benefit Services Group, LLC and its subsidiaries. The compensation guidelines are subject to change at any time without prior notice and, unless otherwise specified, these guidelines are for all AAG members. The AAG Champions Standards rules always apply. Please see the AAG Member Manual for more information on these rules.

9) Members of AAG are independent contractors, regardless of field title or designation.

10) Monthly Bonus Qualifications

  • Must hit all stated requirements each month to qualify for the bonus that month.
  • Members can only participate in either the monthly or the lock in bonus at any given time, never both at the same time.
  • All policy requirements must be satisfied as stated by provider and policy premiums must be current as issued. Policies must be paid, in force, and in good standing at the time the Bonus is paid. No policies switched off of monthly payment, unless paid in full for billing period switched to in advance, will count toward bonus.
  • All life and annuity business must be out of its free look or hold period to be counted.
  • No more than one-half (1/2) Net points can be personal and one-half (1/2) or less Net points can be from any other leg.
  • All business that is canceled while still in charge back period will not be counted in the bonus totals and bonus will be charged back and qualifications will be recalculated.
  • All policies that are used in bonus calculations and charged back during the charge back period will have the bonus calculations re calculated. If after chargebacks, the agent is no longer eligible for bonus level, the entire bonus will be adjusted and/or charged back.
  • In order to participate in the bonus, agents must be licensed and in good standing with AAG and all of its affiliated companies and product providers.
  • All qualifications are calculated using base shop numbers.
  • Alliance Agency Group, LLC reserves the right at its sole discretion to alter or end this compensation and bonus program at any time without prior notification.

  • Bonuses will be paid monthly following a 90 day hold from the time the client application has gone issue/paid with the provider.
  • AAG reserves the right to hold any and all bonus commissions without prior notice at its sole discretion.
  • For purposes of the bonus contest, all policies counted for the month are those new policies that have a status of issue/paid with the provider and all outstanding requirements met within that month. Issue/paid with the provider means that the client application has been issued by the provider and paid means that the provider has received at least one monthly payment from the client for the policy being counted.

  • As always, please consult your Member Manual, located in your back office because all rules located therein apply.
  • Only the receiving VP in a co-mentorship will be eligible to count a referred members contribution toward qualifying for bonus. Only qualifying VP receives bonus.
  • Generational overrides are not a part of bonus commissions and remain at their stated rated no matter what bonus level is achieved.
  • These rules can be altered at any time and alterations may be retroactive without notice and at the company’s sole discretion.

11) Lock in Bonus

  • Must hit all stated requirements in the qualifying period to qualify.
  • Members can only participate in either the monthly or the lock in bonus at any given time, never both at the same time.
  • All policy requirements must be satisfied as stated by provider and policy premiums must be current as issued. Policies must be paid, in force, and in good standing at the time the Bonus is paid. No policies switched off of monthly payment, unless paid in full for billing period switched to in advance, will count toward bonus.
  • All life and annuity business must be out of its free look or hold period to be counted in qualification.
  • No more than one-half (1/2) Net points can be personal and one-half (1/2) or less Net points can be from any other leg or your own base shop.
  • Locked in bonuses are locked in for a 12-month period from the first month following when the qualifications are met.
  • Locked in bonuses for bonus levels 130 and above are locked in for a 12-month period from the first month following obtaining the bonus level. At the end of 12-months if the standards have not been maintained the bonus level will be adjusted to the level the current qualifying level. The current qualifying level can never be lower than the 130% level.
  • All business that is canceled while still in charge back period will not be counted in the bonus totals and bonus will be charged back and qualifications will be recalculated.
  • All policies that are used in bonus calculations and charged back during the charge back period will have the bonus calculations re calculated at time of chargeback. If after chargebacks the agent is no longer eligible for bonus level, the entire bonus will be adjusted and/or charged back to reflect the adjusted bonus level.
  • In order to participate in the bonus, agents must be licensed and in good standing with AAG and all of its affiliated companies and product providers.

  1. The 115% compensation level is composed of 100% personal and base shop compensation plus the possible 5% first 5% second and 5% third generational overrides if the VP has VP’s in those positions to override.
